Chin up, back straight, wear your accomplishment cape and unlock the next challenge!
Hello there Stoans,
Our beloved folks from Cohort 12 have completed their program journey, yay!
6 months of prompts, weekend classes, case studies, community mixers, offline meet-ups, friendships, and whatnot. We are going to miss y’all during sessions but we are looking forward to meeting y’all at meetups and keep hanging around on Discord.
Onto your next challenge, Cohort 12, all the best for your Charter, and look out for the Alum tag on Discord soon XD

Here’s Manav Goel from Cohort 12 sharing his Stoa experience. Warning for C12 folks, it is filled with nostalgia.
Let’s go back to where it all began.
I started meeting my cohort mates (now friends) from the time I landed at Bangalore Airport. Perfect ice-breaker to not feel alone in a room with 80 strangers. XD
After the get-to-know-each-other sessions, we got introduced to our first team at Stoa. In hindsight, it was the best thing that happened to me on this journey. I got the most amazing 6 people, all with different expertise and backgrounds. We named our team, The Mavericks.
(Really want to go all in and tell you about each one of them, but I will save that for a LinkedIn post for later XD)
I joined Stoa to understand business, inside out and to figure out my niche. And yes, I cannot be more content with my decision. From learning about different concepts & how to approach a problem in the right way to getting more clarity about my abilities, I have a solid learning experience. Before joining Stoa I used to believe that I was more of a sales & marketing person but during my journey, it was Finance that made me excited and also helped in build my social currency within the Cohort.
Post these 6 months, I see myself as a different person altogether someone who has become more confident & disciplined. The determination to complete cases and attend weekend sessions made me realise the importance of getting disciplined in life which not only helped me in this journey but also helped me get a lot better physically by losing over 20KGs in the last 6 months. A huge shoutout to my team mavericks because it was them who motivated me & helped me in this journey. I have learned something from each one of my Cohort mates and now I can proudly say that I have an accountable family spread throughout the country.
To summarise my Stoa journey in a sentence- Learning new things and getting better every single day.
This community is the most important thing that I will take back from Stoa. If I have a problem or need advice, I don’t struggle much now, I’ve amazing people helping me, always.
To many more, #GoTeam!🔥
