Stoa Digest #45: Too much Paneer never hurt anyone..
Unless your projected model crashes, then its you who gets hurt.
Hello hello dosto, another week down, coming at you with #45 before the world ends, lets go!
I hope you’ve had a good start this Monday, if you didn’t, I hope this digest could perk up your spirits :)
This week, our editorial is brought to you by Divya Haritwal, alum Cohort 4.
The power of breaking AND making structures…
If you are reading this, you, my fellow Stoan have already started making wise choices. However, I still would like to talk about what this journey means from my perspective and I hope that soon, you have your own gems to share with your fellows from walking these steps yourself.
One thing that I noticed early on, was the diversity amongst the people of Stoa. You’ll find a new graduate and people with 20+ years of experience interacting, learning, and exchanging ideas without any preconceived notions and oftentimes chipping away all the barriers one conversation, one session at a time.
But why is this relevant to why you are here?
Well, whatever reason you had for wanting to join Stoa there is (mostly) an underlying theme: You want to break away from what you already know, to discover more about yourself and the world around you.
It can feel overwhelming as you move away from what is familiar and certain to new territories, especially when you are not sure if you should feel excited or scared or both.
Does it feel like rambling with no sense? Maybe, maybe not.
BUT this is the power of Stoa and its community. There is a curriculum driving your learning journey and a community where you can learn, unlearn and relearn without judgment or prejudice knowing that this is a space where no question is silly and no idea is foolish.
We all in more ways than we know are products of our surroundings and conditioning and these 6 months and beyond will help you build your own path, a method to your madness, and a structure to your chaos.
I’ll leave you with this quote from Harry Potter and with the faith that if you take away just one thing as your journey continues during and beyond the cohort it is the power of making the right choices.
Always a Stoan,
Divya Haritwal
