Stoa Digest #64 : Bittersweet Goodbye
Cause it's a bittersweet symphony, that's life ~ Song by The Verve
šHurrah!š
Hello hello, fam!
Let us bring you some news. Our beloved folks from C6 have graduated, yay!
6 months of weekday prompts, weekend classes, random banter, case studies, community mixers, offline meet-ups, and whatnot. After 6 months of memories and friendship like none other, our Cohort 6 has passed out with flying colors.
Sounds like graduating from school, or college? The vibe was exactly that. Speeches, talent showcase, music, awards, graduation hats. Tears, smiles, and emo moments too.
We are going to miss yāall during sessions but we are looking forward to chit-chatting, and having some crazy fun during our community nights, folks.
Sending full Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna vibes to our C6 fam!
Letās hear from one of our C6 Alums- Srinidhi Narayana
Stoa has been one of the best decisions that Iāve taken solely for myself. It has been a path for me to explore and understand business, startups and much more. This was a chance to get out of my comfort zone and try new things. I canāt thank Stoa and everyone involved for making this a memorable journey.
Few things that have shaped me into who I am and will be there with me forever are :
Firstly, the community. I am very grateful for the people who have helped me and have always been there for me. The space I have is free of judgements and is where I can be myself. The Stoa team was always there to clear my silly doubts without hesitation or judgment. I have met a bunch of very selfless people through this community, who are always ready to help and support other folks.
The several one-on-one conversations I had in the past few months, have made me realise that everyone has a different journey and we all have stories to tell. It is beautiful to see everyone come together for each other.
All the prompts, sessions, case weekends, learnings and all the facilitators have a part in who I am today. They have pushed my limits and made me grow in various ways. Everyone is very passionate and dedicated to my journey and that means everything to me.
The random banter sessions with my Cohort folks have been a big part of my past 6 months. I have made friends I can fall back on at any time. And this is the biggest asset in my life.
I am a 2020 COVID graduate who never got to attend or experience graduation. Stoa graduation was my first graduation ever and Iām super happy and proud. And so are all the people around me.
A personal story but very close to me: my mom cried seeing me graduate, seeing me complete a big chapter in life and achieve this milestone. I would have never been able to do it without my Cohort mates, friends and family. They all have celebrated me and my journey just as their own. I am super grateful to be able to witness all this.
I'm really gonna miss the weekend classes and weekday prompts. Honestly, I donāt know what to look forward to but Iām sure with this large group of supportive friends, I can achieve what I want!
Going to treasure this experience always and kudos to all my friends of C6!
Go Teammm!
