🎉Hurrah!🎉
Our beloved alum, Dhruv Sarkar from C6 has joined Intugine as their Operations Executive. Kudos to you and cheers to creating impact everywhere you go!🔥
As a startup founder, what are 2 major learnings you have had in your two years of leading a team of 15 people?
Going from a 0 to 15 member team has been a hell of a roller coaster ride. One major learning has been that getting the right people makes all the difference. I went through so many iterations and changes but when I finally found there people who align with the vision of the company, it was a wonderful ride. Also, it is not about how you vibe with the person, it is about how your company as a while would.
Secondly, helping your customer understand the actual problem. I was building a niche segment in the market, and finding the right set of people, the clientele- who needs your product and understands it is very important.
How has your transition been from a family business to working an another company?
My family business is real estate and I have been working in the supply of raw material part and I got fairly good at my job in the past 2 years. In this transition, Stoa really helped me as it gave me a perspective on how to look at things, analyse and then take decisions. My friends from Stoa, helped me a lot when I wanted the shift to take up a more challenging domain than my current. I am sure this constant guidance and support made the transition super smooth.
For the folks looking for a new job in Business Ops role, what are the must haves in your opinion.
One thing that helped me in this transition is to identify your skills with utmost clarity and shortlist sectors and domain where you want to work and where your skills align.
Also, being aware of your domain is very important. Which domain excites you because that will help you give your 100%. It should be a solid value addition for you and the company.
And lastly, keep your eyes open and wide. Know more about companies that are doing something new in the market. Do your research right and learn what people are trying to solve and if is it solvable.
What did you enjoy most about Stoa?
Can’t really list one thing, there are too many things. First thing, you can work on anything, talk to anyone at Stoa. People are very approachable. Also, the mindset of people that Stoa has built is commendable and they are super enthusiastic which is great.
Another thing, there are not too many terms and conditions like other MBA colleges. There’s no exam for people to judge me based on my marks. It’s all about how well you communicate, present and network and that made me fall in love with Stoa.

Stoa Bangalore Fam had an interesting evening last Sunday. A storytelling and improvisation workshop facilitated by Laxmi Priya in an intimate setting really got us to reflect and bond. To many more new experiences!💫
